STEVE LUCAS 1963-2011 Steve was a superb songwriter, both musically and lyrically, who from '78 to '85 played bass in The Mental, guitar and vocals in Wild Youth and The Pagans, bass and vocals in The Flying Fish Band, and went solo on voice and guitar before calling it a day. Born in Trowbridge, he lived locally ever since, married Dide and raised two amazing daughters, Rose and Lily. Always the outdoor type he became a landscape gardener and grew and sold organic food. He died of cancer, on the Autumn equinox, and will be immensely missed. RIP.
